Titre du poste: Chef de Projet MécaniqueDescription du posteNous recherchons un Chef de Projet Mécanique expérimenté pour planifier et exécuter des projets tout en maintenant des relations clients solides. Vous serez responsable du traitement précis et rapide des devis, commandes et itinéraires en ligne avec les stratégies commerciales.Responsabilités
  • Travailler sur des applications, évaluer les coûts des projets et préparer des devis.
  • Développer et maintenir un réseau de sous-traitants pour livrer les pièces selon les objectifs de délai, de coût et de qualité du projet.
  • Générer des exercices de rentabilité, protocoles ou procédures nécessaires à l'exécution des projets.
  • Agir en tant que chef de projet pour des missions internes ou externes.
  • Superviser les membres de l'équipe de service sur une base de projet.
  • Gérer et réviser les processus pour augmenter la productivité du centre de service.
  • Fournir une communication claire et précise aux clients, présenter des propositions avec des options potentielles.
  • Visiter les clients selon les besoins pour développer des opportunités commerciales supplémentaires et résoudre les problèmes en suspens.
  • Mettre en Å“uvre des processus d'amélioration continue en matière de coût, de qualité et de livraison dans les ateliers.
Compétences Essentielles
  • Lecture et compréhension des dessins mécaniques en 2D/3D.
  • Création de devis pour les clients.
  • Baccalauréat ou DEC en ingénierie mécanique.
  • Minimum de 4 ans d'expérience.
  • Expérience avec MS Office, en particulier Excel et MS Project.
  • Expérience dans l'industrie manufacturière (aérospatiale, transport ou pâte à papier).
Compétences Supplémentaires & qualifications
  • Certification PMP.
  • Expérience dans l'industrie de la pâte et du papier.
  • Membre de l'OIQ.
Environnement De TravailLe poste est basé à Valmet St Laurent, avec une équipe de 8 personnes en bureau et 20 en atelier. Les horaires de base sont de 8h30 à 15h, avec une option de télétravail de 2 jours par semaine après quelques mois d'intégration sur site. Les premiers mois nécessitent une présence sur site 5 jours par semaine pour une autonomie complète.

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of quotes, orders, and routings in line with business strategies.Responsibilities
  • Work on applications, project costing, and preparing quotations.
  • Develop and maintain a network of subcontractors to deliver parts within timeline, cost, and quality objectives of the project.
  • Generate profitability exercises, routing protocols, or procedures required to execute work on projects.
  • Act as a project manager on internal or external project assignments.
  • Supervise service team members on a project basis.
  • Manage and review processes to increase productivity of the service center.
  • Provide clear and accurate communication to customers, presenting proposals with potential options.
  • Visit customers as required to develop additional business opportunities and address outstanding issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes on cost, quality, and delivery in workshops.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings in 2D/3D.
  • Experience creating quotes for clients.
  • Bachelor's or DEC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and MS Project.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry (aerospace, transport, or pulp and paper).
Additional Skills and Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry.
  • Membership with OIQ.
Work EnvironmentThe position is based at Valmet St Laurent, with a team of 8 people in the office and 20 in the workshop. Core hours are 8:30 to 3, with a work-from-home option of 2 days per week after a few months of on-site integration.
