  • Job Description
We are looking for a 3D design technician with good analytical skills who is comfortable using Autodesk and/or Bentley AEC suite software to carry out bridge and engineering structure projects.Your main responsibilities will be to support the development of 3D CAD and BIM/VDC in bridges, to create parametric models and to carry out bridge and interchange projects, participating in the design and delivering plans that meet the high standards of CIMA+.We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement enabling you to work from home and from one of our offices in the metropolitan area.Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare models and plans for engineering structures using software from the Autodesk AEC suite (Revit, Civil 3D) and/or Bentley (Openbridge, Microstation, Pro Structure)
  • Actively participating in the development of BIM/VDC processes for bridge and engineering structure construction and refurbishment projects, working with a team of technicians, draughtsmen and engineers
  • Ensure interdepartmental coordination in CAD and compliance with the quality assurance system
  • Profile
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in engineering (3 years of experience in civil engineering structures, an asset)
  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in civil engineering or architecture, or diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in drafting
  • Experience in structural, concrete and steel modelling
  • Proficiency in at least one 3D modelling software: Revit, Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of: Bentley; Openbridge, Pro Structure, Microstation, Openroad, Autodesk; Inventor, InfraWorks, (an asset)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) an asset
