Job Description:We're excited to welcome a full-time Strategic Sourcing Transitions Senior Manager to our team!
This role can be based anywhere in Canada, with a preference for candidates located in Alberta.SUMMARYWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Strategic Sourcing Transitions Senior Manager to lead procurement focused workstream requirements for client transitions and integrations. This hybrid role requires strong people skills, exceptional organizational capabilities, and expertise in program and project management, and client engagement. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering programs on time and within budget, driving effective client onboarding, and fostering collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTransition Management
  • Provide transition governance updates to senior leadership, working closely with the Director, Strategic Sourcing on resourcing and program planning.
  • Coordinate multiple related projects and workstreams to ensure integrated, consistent program delivery.
  • Proactively manage program-level risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as required.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with senior leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Track and report program progress, financials, milestones, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure best practices are applied across all transition activities.
  • Coordinate supplier selection finalization, onboarding, credentialing, master data setup, and compliance requirements (WCB/insurance/ABCDD).
  • Oversee contract execution, including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, pricing schedules, novations/assignments, and transition services agreements.
  • Maintain and apply category-specific transition playbooks (e.g., MRO, facilities management, logistics, professional services).
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for Executive Steering Committees, including status updates and recommendations.
  • Lead detailed project and change management planning with workstream leads.
  • Monitor workstream progress and ensure timely submission of required data and deliverables.
  • Facilitate weekly internal status meetings, cross-workstream alignment sessions, and joint client meetings.
  • Create supplier loader files for review and approval prior to system upload.
  • Manage and maintain supplier listings and setup requirements in coordination with relevant workstreams.
Other Activities
  • Support the procurement team with projects and ongoing account needs.
  • Draft and coordinate tenders and bid documentation.
  • Track and review compliance requirements.
  • Engage with suppliers to support onboarding, performance, and ongoing relationship management.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Supply chain designation an asset
  • Contractor and supplier onboarding experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and track deliverables
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong client focus.
  • Vendor management and contract negotiation experience.
  • Time management and communication skills
  • Experience in change management and training coordination.
  • Excel and Mircosoft skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
  • SCMP Designation an asset
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $93,972 - $117,466 per annum.
