- Support project planning and coordination across engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors.
- Assist with schedule and manpower coordination, including look-aheads, short interval planning, and constraint management.
- Support cost and schedule forecasting by gathering field data, reviewing trends, and assisting with forecast updates.
- Assist with project controls activities including progress tracking, productivity reporting, and forecast inputs.
- Prepare, issue, and track RFIs by working with field teams and engineering, including coordination of responses and close-out.
- Support material procurement by assisting with material requests, tracking purchase orders, and monitoring deliveries.
- Coordinate with Quality personnel by providing documentation, notifying QC of inspection readiness, and supporting turnover activities.
- Provide daily support to Construction Managers and field teams to ensure effective coordination and information flow.
- Support accurate labour, quantity, and cost tracking aligned with project cost codes.
- Maintain organized and accurate project records including site diaries, photos, quantities, and field documentation.
- Participate in project safety initiatives including field walks, hazard identification, and safety meetings.
- Assist with document control and contract administration activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with field crews, subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and clients.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to support both office and field-based teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, including basic formulas and data tracking.
- Interest in using digital tools and technology (including Copilot and similar tools) to improve efficiency.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative.
- Commitment to safety and supporting a strong site safety culture.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required by project demands.
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently when required.
