Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator ILocation: Edmonton or Calgary, ABOur client is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator I to join their team. As a Project Controls Coordinator I, you will be part of the Project Controls department supporting project management activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Description:

Provide advanced cost control support to project management teams.
Collaborate with Project Controls Advisors, Execution, and Engineering leads to initiate purchase orders and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of requisitions.
Act as the primary contact for creating purchase requisitions in Oracle Financials.
Monitor and analyze the status of purchase and change orders, providing insights to stakeholders using various data analysis tools.
Work closely with teams on purchase order revisions, change orders, and contract adjustments to address funding issues and improve invoice management processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
At least 3 years of experience supporting purchase orders in engineering and construction capital projects.
Familiarity with project cost control best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle Cloud applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
