As they expand into the Canadian market, they are offering a rare opportunity for independent consultants to lead national growth efforts, shape strategic relationships, and contribute meaningfully to the future of Canadian agriculture.This role offers high autonomy, entrepreneurial flexibility, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact as part of a fast-moving and respected organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAs the National Account Manager (Agriculture), you will drive national-level account strategy, develop key partnerships, and expand the organization's presence across Canada. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Strategic Sales Leadership:
o Define and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share for agrochemical products across Canada.
o Drive sustainable revenue through high-impact client engagement and solution selling.
  • Account Management & Relationship Development:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts, including distributors and dealers.
o Lead contract negotiations, provide tailored support, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Team & Channel Development:
o Support the onboarding and development of new distribution partners aligned with the brand's values and goals.
o Deliver training on products, positioning, and performance to empower channel partners and sales teams.
  • Market Strategy & Execution:
o Leverage market knowledge to identify growth opportunities, track competitor activity, and provide insights to leadership.
o Monitor team effectiveness and continuously refine actions to drive success across national accounts.QualificationsTo succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
  • Education & Experience:
o bachelor's degree in agriculture or a related field is preferred; MBA is a plus.
o 5+ years of experience in agrochemical or plant protection sales.
o Experience managing commercial accounts and growing market presence nationally.
  • Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of the Canadian agriculture and crop protection industry.
o Familiarity with CRM tools, forecasting, and reporting systems.
  • Key Competencies:
o Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
o Proactive, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented mindset.
o Ability to work independently as a consultant while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
o Willingness to travel extensively across Canada to meet with clients and partners.
