
SEO SPECIALIST

- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of our sites in the SERPs.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
- Work closely with the e-Commerce and Merchandising teams as well as the SEA campaign specialist to optimize performance with a view to increasing organic traffic;
- Develop and implement local SEO strategies using platforms such as Google My Business or Bing Place.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush; Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
- Work in collaboration with the copywriting team for the creation of SEO-oriented content and programming;
- Work in collaboration with the Web team in the development of tree structures, wireframes and call-to-actions for an effective user experience (UX) (completion of customer objectives by the user).
- Develop and implement machine learning (AI)-based optimization strategies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices.
- Data analysis and critical thinking: You excel at interpreting SEO performance metrics and turning data into concrete, actionable insights.
- Technical expertise and digital curiosity: You understand the inner workings of search algorithms and have a keen eye for identifying optimization opportunities—both technical and strategic.
- Communication and collaboration: You're skilled at translating SEO concepts for cross-functional teams and enjoy working closely with e-Commerce, content, Web, and SEA teams.
- Strategic awareness and drive for innovation: SEO is constantly evolving—and so are you. You're always on the lookout for trends, AI advancements, and algorithm updates to stay ahead of the curve.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Specialized Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce or Marketing or relevant experience in a related field;
- Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO;
- Bilingualism - spoken and written (The person will have to do SEO research for the Canadian and American market);
- High level of creativity;
- Advanced knowledge of the following tools:
- Google Analytics (Certification obtained - Asset)
- Google Search Console
- Ahrefs
- SEMRush
- Screaming Frog
- GTMetrix
- Google Merchant Center
- Google Keyword Planner
- Strong analytical skills;
