
IP Solutions Design and Validation Manager

- Lead and Collaborate: Lead technical discussions, manage teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (PLM, Consulting Engineering, Account Teams, customers) throughout the project lifecycle. This includes gathering requirements, defining scope, and brainstorming solutions.
- Design and Test: Design, model, and test cutting-edge SR/ISIS and IP/MPLS solutions for mobile backhaul environments, ensuring commercial deployability. This involves creating and executing test plans, managing proof-of-concept demonstrations, and facilitating test automation.
- Deliver and Report: Manage project timelines, track progress, report on status, publish results in customer-ready documents, and present findings to internal and external audiences. Oversee lab resources and ensure successful deployments.
- Develop and Lead: Solve complex problems, contribute to organizational frameworks, and serve as a subject matter expert and professional leader, mentoring team members and ensuring timely project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of industry experience, including at least 4 years in a customer-facing role.
- 5+ years' experience in Networking Routing testing. Strong expertise in IP/MPLS and Segment Routing network design and architecture.
- Experience in large-scale IP infrastructure projects
- Advanced Nokia IP certifications recommended
- Routing protocols (IS-IS, OSPF, BGP)
- SR-MPLS, L2 and L3 services (L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN)
- Network synchronization (sync-e, PTP), OAM, QoS
- Management experience or leadership roles in major project, Network Management, Netconf/Yang, gNMI
- Linux & virtualization, Test automation / Python
- Interacting with customers and internal teams to describe complex technical issues clearly and concisely. Understanding of how to motivate a team. Supporting an environment of working collaboratively in a team to deliver results on short notice, and working across a wide range of problems
