
Accounting Manager/Supervisor

- Lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and attention to detail in their development.
- Drive process enhancements and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce financial close timelines.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operating and capital expenditures, including managing accounts payable, cash disbursements, corporate travel, and asset management.
- Approve month-end journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting processes, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, impairment assessments, and tracking.
- Coordinate physical inventory counts and reconcile fixed assets to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with external reporting and technical accounting teams to review supplier contracts and ensure proper recognition of complex transactions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial reporting systems, ensuring robust internal controls and data integrity.
- Partner with procurement and operations teams on asset capitalization, capital projects, and purchase requisitions.
- Act as a finance lead in strategic initiatives and business transformation projects to drive organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Recognized accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven ability to manage and develop large teams of 10 or more members.
- Experience with Workday or another Tier 1 ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Strong understanding of standard accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial reporting practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
