Our colleagues continue to aim higher and show they care about our guests and each other to ensure we achieve our goal of creating great hotels guests love.YOUR DAY TO DAYAssist concierge in fulfilling guest needs, requests and inquiries, to ensure superior service and value for our guests. Assists with Food and Beverage items setup, restocking, serving and clean up.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Club Concierges daily tasks where possible on any guest related item in the hotel and other miscellaneous tasksEnsure buffet is fully restocked for the following shift.Deliver flowers, newspapers, packages and other amenities to guest rooms on Club Floor.Assists Concierge with food and beverage requirements. Food orders, supplies and clean up.Retrieve packages from loading dock, log them in, arrange package room and deliver to guests on Club Floor.Leave messages concerning packages and other amenities on Club Floor.Run errands outside of the hotel to include but not limited to: postage stamps, theatre tickets, shoe repair, laundry, shopping, drugstore, etc. for Club Floors.Provide guests with comprehensive information about hotel services, places of interest, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours, and any other information of interest.Assist guests with, but not limited to, theatre/airline/tail tickets, transportation, and restaurant reservations and provide guests with information on outside facilities and services.Handle guests' services such as mail, keys, postage, messages, and paging. daily communications and coordination with other departments. Be aware and prepare for all in-house group meetings and VIP arrivals.Perform other duties as assigned.WHAT WE NEED FROM YOUHigh School diploma or equivalent plus some guest service or hospitality experience preferred. A valid Smart Serve certificate. Some College and knowledge of locale preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.This job requires ability to perform the following:
  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Handling objects such as phone, computer keyboard, trays of food, cases of pop, beer, water, etc
OTHER
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and third parties.
  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, tagging bags, etc.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
