- Maintain accurate books across multiple corporate entities in Canada and the US in QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including CAD, USD and multi-currency transactions
- Reconcile Canadian and US bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll clearing accounts on a monthly basis
- Monitor and reconcile payroll activity processed through a managed Workforce Management System; ensure payroll entries are accurately reflected in the books
- Manage HST filings and remittances with CRA; support US sales tax and compliance obligations as applicable
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and reports for department heads
- Support year-end close and liaise with external accountants or auditors
- Assist with budget tracking, project cost allocations, and revenue reconciliation
- Maintain organized records for contracts, invoices, and financial correspondence
