By applying global scale with local expertise, we shape and support global trends, deliver excellence for customers and power a sustainable future for society. go.abb/electrification In this project based position, you will be the expert in delivering competitive bids, estimates and quotes to customers for electrical low voltage distribution systems focusing on motor control centers, switchboards, load centers, and panelboards for Smart Power & Smart Building divisions in Canada. In this role your attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple channel partners will be vital to this key component of providing accurate product solutions.Your responsibilities
  • Provide product solutions, technical support, and competitor cross references.
  • Ensure timely and accurate creation of tender documents through coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Issue responses to RFI/RFQ requests from customers.
  • Prepare proposals in response to customer RFPs.
  • Contribute to an effective and positive customer relationship throughout the sales process.
  • Create, maintain, and follow up on opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Examine and report on the results of tenders and identify areas for improvement to increase success.
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of low voltage distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, & ERP Platforms (an asset).
  • Strong ability to interpret single line diagrams.
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously with a collaborative, solution-focused and detail-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in both English and French, both written and spoken. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
