Job DescriptionHR Technology Specialist – 12 Month Contract/ActingRank 4Scarborough, ON (Hybrid)The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $75,700 - $99,300. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for a HR Technology Specialist to support our Human Resources team. This is a 12-month contract opportunity and will report to the Manager, Payroll & Human Resources Operations.The selected candidate will be responsible for orchestrating and monitoring tasks and initiatives related to TCI’s HR technology systems (Workday and UKG) to ensure successful functionality, security and efficient business processes. Reviews business processes regularly to ensure all are functionalSystem OptimizationCoordinates feature release testing, investigates new features, educates HR team and works in partnership with the Manager, Payroll & HR Operations to determine appropriate features for future implementationExplores opportunities to optimize and enhance system functionality through fierce collaboration with HR team and other business departmentsStays current with latest advancements and opportunities within Workday and UKG. Seeking opportunities to advance system knowledgeProject SupportProcess maps existing processes and partners with various stakeholders to put together a recommended new desired stateGathers requirements, gaps, data mapping etc., creates test strategies and updates project status reportsSupports development of new integrations, working closely with various stakeholders to identify connections and supports testing and sustainment planningData Governance, Documentation and TrainingSupports oversight of data management in the system. Seeks understanding of data structure and determines in partnership with Manager, HR & Payroll Operations where best to store, access and continuously monitors overall data structure, governance and HR team data requirementsCreates quality, easy to use, end user training material, manuals and quick reference guides on HR systems. Updates documentation as and when changes occurIdentifies and delivers HR Technology training to users to ensure maximum utilizationWhat You’ll Bring:Minimum 2-3 years of working experience with Workday HRIS administration and/or UKG systemPrevious work experience in various Human Resources roles that support knowledge of overall HR operations and technologyUniversity Degree or College Diploma in human resources, information technology, business administrationComprehensive grasp of HR practices, regulations, processes and data managementExperience translating HR business and functional requirement into application functionalityAptitude and ability to collaborate with others in order to build consensus and cooperation from different stakeholder groupsExcellent organizational skills and time management in order to multitask concurrent projects and handle multiple changing prioritiesNatural curiosity to continuously explore and understand system capabilities and root cause of issuesStrong communication skills, ability to clearly/simply present an idea and recommendationAbility to adapt communication style to suit audience (translate technological terms)About UsToyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
