Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Eastern Region Project Coordinator (Full Time) - Montreal, QCPrimary PurposeReporting to the Area Manager, the Eastern Region Project Coordinate is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable and efficient daily operation of Linde’s Air Separation, Carbon Dioxide and VPSA plants throughout Quebec. The Eastern Region Project Coordinator provides large project management planning and management with emphasis on productivity improvements, process efficiency, and process safety.Key Accountabilities
- Work to ensure high levels or reliability of Linde’s fleet in the province of Quebec,
- Establish and prioritize business requirements,
- Manage project delivery, communication and financials,
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety practices and government regulations,
- Provide technical expertise to plant operations and instrumentation technicians,
- Lead or participate in cross functional teams,
- Conduct equipment analyses as needed,
- Support continuous improvement initiatives,
- Participate in reviews of and maintain a working knowledge of Standard Maintenance Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Site-specific Operating Procedures, and Engineering Standards.
- College Diploma or University degree in management, maintenance management, engineering, industrial mechanics, or equivalent.
- PMP, PMI Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience related to industrial project management, equipment maintenance or related field management.
- Experience in budget management is an asset
- Experience in managing or supervising employees is an asset.
- Technical knowledge/experience in Air Separation and/or Industrial Gas plant processes and equipment including instrumentation and control systems would be a definite asset.
- Excellent time management and work prioritization skills with an ability to effectively manage multiple high impact priorities and obtain results.
- A proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficient with P&IDs, schematic wiring diagrams and instrumentation components (valves, analyzers, field sensors, PLCs, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, be willing to quickly adapt to changing situations, have strong communications skills, and a strong will to build and maintain productive relationships across departmental lines.
- Able and willing to adapt to a work schedule that coincides with plant operational needs. Must also be able and willing to work for extended periods of time in an operating plant under various environmental conditions.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as to lead and participate on cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with an ability and desire to persevere.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
