This is a high-impact, field-facing role within an evolving HR structure, where you will partner closely with operations leadership to support employee relations, proactively manage labour risk, and help foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment - building relationships on the ground, navigating complex situations in real time, and acting as a true partner to the business.What You'll Be Doing:Acting as the primary HR partner for employee relations matters across a network of locationsProviding day-to-day guidance to leaders, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policies and best practicesTaking a proactive approach to labour relations, with a focus on maintaining a positive, non-union environmentIdentifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and intervening early to mitigate escalationSpending time on-site across locations, building strong relationships and supporting teams directlyPartnering with operational leadership to align HR initiatives with business prioritiesCollaborating with the broader HR team, including support for more complex or unionized environments as neededWhat You'll Need to Be Successful:Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations and Labour Relations, ideally within a multi-site or field-based environmentStrong understanding of Quebec labour legislationA hands-on, practical approach with the ability to navigate real-world HR challengesProven ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levelsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, decentralized environmentWillingness to travel regularly across QuebecFully bilingual (French/English), both written and spokenExperience in healthcare, veterinary, retail, or other multi-unit environments is considered an assetCompensation Range: $85,000 - $105,000 base salary
