- Own the full recruitment lifecycle across all roles—from intake and job postings to interviewing, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs in a high‑growth environment.
- Build practical recruitment processes, templates, and documentation to support consistent hiring as the company scales.
- Continuously improve candidate experience and hiring effectiveness.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation aligned with employment legislation and company values.
- Build scalable HR processes that balance structure with the organization’s grass‑roots culture.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing thoughtful, pragmatic guidance to employees and leaders.
- Support performance management conversations, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Coach leaders on people management, accountability, and effective communication.
- Identify training and development needs and implement practical learning solutions.
- Support employee growth and career development discussions aligned with business needs.
- Foster a culture of engagement, trust, accountability, and alignment with company values.
- Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to align people initiatives with business goals.
- Support organizational change and growth with a calm, people‑focused, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Participate in future evaluation and implementation of an HRIS as the organization evolves.
- 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, in a stand‑alone HR Manager, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner role.
- Proven experience handling all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and compliance.
- Demonstrated success operating in high‑growth, changing environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural openness, authenticity, and approachability.
- Comfort being hands‑on, accountable, and embedded in day‑to‑day business needs.
- Exposure to HRIS selection or implementation (an asset).
