Our values and principles guide the actions we take to ensure our customers get the best experience possible.Be part of our talented and growing team!We are currently looking for a Specialist, Credit Risk to join our team report to the Senior Manager, Credit Risk Management.As a Specialist, Credit Risk you will support and contribute the credit strategy development, implementation, documentation and monitoring for Fairstone Bank indirect and credit card lending portfolios. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Credit Risk Management functions and play a key role in the development and implementation of risk strategies in support of the overall risk appetite framework.
  • Contribute to risk strategy design including documentation, implementation, testing and monitoring.
  • Liaise and communicate with key bank departments such as Product, Operations, Marketing and Finance during project activities.
  • Produce key reporting in a timely manner.
  • Create new reporting for additional operational segments.
  • Investigate and propose new solutions and strategies to improve portfolio performance.
  • Other risk analytics duties as assigned.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Credit Risk experience or experience within the financial services industry.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, is an asset.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management principles and the factors that contribute to risk, with the ability to assess, measure and monitor risk.
  • Intermediate skills using SAS or SQL to mine, transform and analyze large amounts of data is required.
  • Knowledge of Triad, TSYS, TSYS Ace systems is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
