- Contribute to the strategic direction of the Credit Risk Management functions and play a key role in the development and implementation of risk strategies in support of the overall risk appetite framework.
- Contribute to risk strategy design including documentation, implementation, testing and monitoring.
- Liaise and communicate with key bank departments such as Product, Operations, Marketing and Finance during project activities.
- Produce key reporting in a timely manner.
- Create new reporting for additional operational segments.
- Investigate and propose new solutions and strategies to improve portfolio performance.
- Other risk analytics duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Credit Risk experience or experience within the financial services industry.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, is an asset.
- Knowledge of credit risk management principles and the factors that contribute to risk, with the ability to assess, measure and monitor risk.
- Intermediate skills using SAS or SQL to mine, transform and analyze large amounts of data is required.
- Knowledge of Triad, TSYS, TSYS Ace systems is a strong asset.
- Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
