- Cold-call potential clients to book financial reviews with an Investment Advisor
- Assist in retrieving key documents
- Assist with the proposal development process
- Develop and nurture the business opportunity leads and the sales pipeline through cold-calls, follow-up calls, and emails
- Provide the Investment Advisor with regular updates regarding client leads
- Assist with the advisory team’s social media prospecting strategy, marketing initiatives, and adding leads to the newsletter database
- Ability to make proactive phone calls to introduce new services
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs
- Motivation to achieve goals while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Self-confidence and demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in conversations
- Ability to handle rejection and stay positive
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Experience communicating with clients by phone in a contact/call centre
- Sales experience
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- University degree
- Understanding of entrepreneurs and business owners
