Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, informed consent and onboarding processes and communicate directly with patients in a professional, caring, and considerate manner.
- Schedule and manage participant visits, follow-ups, and study activities.
- Support delivery of intervention components (e.g., videoconferences, onboarding, study materials).
- Independently develop, manage, and maintain clinical trial databases (e.g., REDCap, including longitudinal design, branching logic, and data quality oversight).
- Maintain and organize study documentation (protocols, consent forms, SOPs, logs), and independently prepare and submit REBapplications, amendments, renewals, and reports; develop SOPs as needed.
- Prepare grant progress reports and funder reports, track project expenditures, and maintain documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related field, plusapproximately three to five years' of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Advanced proficiency in REDCap, including independent design and programming of clinical trial databases (randomization, longitudinal structure, branching logic, and codebook review).
- Demonstrated experience coordinating randomized clinical trials (RCTs), including participant flow, protocol adherence, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in R and/or SPSS for data cleaning and descriptive analyses.
- Demonstrated ability to independently prepare and submit REB applications, amendments, renewals, and reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working with patients and clinicians in a professional and compassionate manner and a demonstrated ability to work independently in coordinating complex clinical trials with minimal supervision in a fast-paced research environment.
- Experience with multi-site and/or clinical trial research.
- Familiarity with ROMEO or other institutional research administration systems.
- Experience working in multilingual and/or multicultural environments.
- Bilingual (French and English).
