- Develop clear, visual construction simulations that transform the schedule into an easy to understand build sequence for the whole team.
- Continuously update and refine the 4D model to highlight risks, clashes, and sequencing issues before they hit the field, supporting smarter planning and meetings
- Use the latest capture and analytics technology to turn daily site activity into clear, visual productivity insights that show exactly where work is accelerating, slowing, or falling behind.
- Spot emerging schedule risks and out of sequence installation early, and guide the team with objective, tech driven recommendations that keep the project on track.
- Work closely with supers, coordinators, and PMs to align field activities with model insights.
- Shape and refine VDC workflows that make projects more predictable and efficient.
- Facilitate the implementation of BIM/VDC processes collaboratively with the project and BIM/VDC teams;
- Get creative and establish protocols for key elements including communication, exchange of data, and 3D workspace;
- Constantly learn to keep your own expertise at the leading edge through continuing professional development, experimentation and research;
- Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap-up process.
- Promotion of Pomerleau's innovation methods at various events
- Passion for BIM and Technology
- 3 or more years' of BIM experience in the AEC industry;
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Architecture, Architecture or MEP Technology or a combination of education and construction industry experience;
- Understanding of CPM Scheduling, Lean Construction and Last Planner, Linking schedules to models
- Understanding of contract types
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, Public Speaking
- Proficiency with computers especially with BIM software including: Fuzor, Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, ACC, Point Cloud, MS Project/P6, Power BI, Copilot, etc.;
- Willingness to travel/relocate and work on site.
