- Strategic Growth & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive Revenue Growth and Market Diversification Plan in conjunction with the senior management team. Identify target accounts, market entry strategies, and sales forecasts to ensure successful penetration of new sectors.
- Market Exploration: Lead the "Revenue Growth and Market Diversification Plan" to successfully penetrate and scale within new industry sectors and markets.
- Lead Generation: Proactively develop and qualify new leads and engage new potential Customers through cold outreach, networking, industry events, and creative lead-generation methods.
- Relationship Building: Forge trust-based relationships with C-level executives, Directors, and engineering and production managers.
- Solution Selling: Collaborate with our PMO, engineering, and applications teams to articulate how Prodomax's custom automation solutions solve unique manufacturing and business operation challenges.
- Proposal & Negotiation: Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
- Handover: Successfully transition new accounts to the Account Management team to ensure long-term satisfaction.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Prodomax with professionalism, upholding our reputation for quality and innovation.
- CRM & Sales Pipeline: Support maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM system for detailed lead tracking and opportunity generation. Support sales pipeline tracking and monitoring and prioritization with the sales and management team.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in Business Development or Sales - MUST BE within industrial automation, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Diversification Expertise: Proven experience or deep knowledge of non-automotive, industrial manufacturing industries
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to grasp complex engineering concepts and systems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Credentials: A P.Eng., designation is highly preferred.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in generating new business and closing large-scale, complex deals.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship building and negotiation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regularly to meet prospective customers and attend tradeshows and industry events.
- Direct Impact: Report directly to the CEO and shape the company's strategic direction.
- Compensation: Competitive salary and a generous performance-based commission structure. Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000. The actual compensation a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
