- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience, as well as 3+ years of experience in field construction is required.
- Proven experience in managing LRT operational activities like dynamic testing, traction power isolations, train movement, access controls and competencies around these activities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hazard management and safety mitigation during LRV movement, electrical energization, isolation events
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in temporary operations during testing and commissioning within railway systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of applicable Canadian railway / operations/ Electrical rules and standards.
- Commitment to Safety: The Temporary Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality, safe results throughout the project.
- Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions
