We are seeking a capable and organized Operations Manager to support the setup and ongoing operation of a transitional housing residence. This role will be responsible for establishing day-to-day systems, coordinating resident intake, and developing referral relationships with community partners. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the program operates in a structured, professional, and consistent manner. Responsibilities: Operations & Program Setup • Establish and manage day-to-day operational systems and processes • Organize resident intake procedures, documentation, and tracking • Implement house rules, structure, and accountability systems • Ensure the residence operates in a consistent and organized manner • Assist with coordination and documentation related to facility setup and regulatory readiness Resident Intake & Coordination • Manage inquiries, screening, and onboarding of residents • Maintain accurate records and documentation • Coordinate communication with residents and external partners Referral Development & Partnerships • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including Alberta Health Services, treatment centres, and community organizations • Act as a primary point of contact for inbound and outbound referrals • Follow up consistently to maintain occupancy and program flow Ongoing Operations • Oversee daily activity within the residence • Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively • Maintain a professional, structured, and accountable environment • Support ongoing compliance requirements and periodic inspections as needed Qualifications: • 3–7 years of experience in operations, program coordination, or a similar role • Strong organizational and follow-through skills • Experience in housing, social services, or community-based programs is an asset • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently • Strong communication and relationship-building skills About Company: Briarstone is an institutional-grade real estate development and management firm focused on building high-performance multi-family assets across Canada.
