- Responsible for providing administrative support to the Purchasing Team
- Collaborate with internal teams to support Restaurant Managers on product, pricing, menu, and delivery matters Liaise with Sysco Opco’s on daily shortages… follow up with Sysco/vendors on any concerns.
- Help prepare and invoice vendors as per contract agreements (rebates/ marketing monies)
- Generate menu templates for posting to operations for new menus and features for all concepts
- Arrange for product samples and pricing details for Executive Chefs, as required for menu tastings and training
- Co-ordinate inventory and drop shipments with distributors for new menu / feature launches.
- Liaise with IT on new products or substitutes for Foodtrak updating
- Work with IT to resolve and manage quarantined invoices
- Lead and coordinate all communications with restaurant teams to ensure timely, clear, and consistent delivery of relevant information.
- Create, compile and maintain Sysco Opco Velocity Reports
- Support the collection and maintenance of item‑level information, including nutritional and allergen data
- Poultry Quota – Prepare annual spreadsheet of poultry purchase
- Process and track product quality complaints with distributor/vendor and ensure proper credit issued
- Help Organize and ship SIR Marketplace orders for purchasing sourced ingredients
- Manage and receive staff orders from various suppliers for Support Centre staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expert knowledge on Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
- Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Analytical/evaluation skills (problem solving)
- Preference will be given to candidates with restaurant experience
