Under the supervision of the Administrative Officer, the incumbent will provide confidential administrative support for OCSP and STP leadership, enter payroll when required, support program statistics and perform other duties as assigned to meet the objectives. The incumbent will also assist the department with hiring, coordination and minute taking of meetings, preparation and upkeep of administrative standard operating procedures, preparation of financial paper work and coverage for out-of-scope administrative duties.The Administrative Assistant will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large complex workload to meet deadlines. The incumbent has the ability to coordinate workflow and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and be willing to assume a variety of assignments, as required. The candidate must be a self-starter, have the ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision.The incumbent will work to ensure a high level of coordination and communication between OCSP & STP, CCMB senior leadership as well as the various CCMB departments.Qualifications:Education
Successful completion of a recognized Administrative Training Program from an accredited educational institution.
Experience
3 years directly related experience, supporting an intermediate / senior level leader
Experience on payroll entries for department staff
Experience recording and preparing minutes and agendas
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Skills and Abilities

Ability to coordinate and work with a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational, prioritization skills, & attention to detail
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
