In this position, you will be responsible to support this function at both a tactical and strategic level and help position for future growth.Responsibilities:Work collaboratively with Regional Finance, Commercial, Business Development Teams, Solution and Engineering teamsCollaborate with our CAE’s team to develop a strategy to monetize our intellectual propertySupport the Solution, Price Strategy and Price to Win exercisesThoroughly review customer Request for Proposals (RFP) and associated commercial documentation to identify financial risks and implications and make recommendations to mitigateSupport pricing function with the due within the team to minimize risk and maximize profitability in the Defense and Security Business UnitLead and coordinate relevant discussions between subject matter experts both in Corporate and the Business UnitSupport process alignment and harmonization with our worldwide finance teamSupport customer negotiationsRequirements:Minimum 5 years of applicable experienceCapability of obtaining a Canadian Security & Controlled Goods clearance (mandatory)Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar disciplineExperience in Financial Analysis & ModellingExperience in operations and or business development an assetComfortable in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Relevant experience in business cases, accounting (IFRS) & financial principles an assetKnowledge of the Canadian Government procurement systemExperience in bids and proposals.Experience in the Defense IndustryFunctions well in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervisionInnovative and has a creative solution mindsetAutonomous and resourcefulStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and business acumenCapacity to build and leverage a network and maintain relationshipsAbility to work in an International environmentAbility to coach and provide guidanceAbility to lead and work effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teamsBilingual – English and French#LI-IT1About CAEAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
