- Provide technical advice and guidance on network infrastructure management, security, and operations to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network-related issues.
- Develop and implement network management, monitoring, and security processes and procedures following industry best practices.
- Conduct technical training sessions for internal teams on network infrastructure, troubleshooting and problem resolution, security, and operations.
- Evaluate and recommend new network-related technologies, tools, and processes (e.g., firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, monitoring solutions).
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network infrastructure management and operations.
- Support integration with additional tools, platforms, and systems that depend on stable and secure network connectivity.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of networking trends, standards, and best practices.
- Achieve and maintain industry-standard security or networking certifications appropriate for the position (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+).
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University considered an asset.
- A Technical College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and direct experience may be considered.
- Significant experience administering and supporting enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs VPN, DNS, DHCP), including design, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in a complex multi-sites and mission critical environment.
- Experience designing and implementing network automation solutions using scripting tools (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.) to improve operational efficiency by streamlining administration tasks.
- Proven ability to implement and maintain network security practices, access controls, segmentation, monitoring, and best practices.
- Significant experience analyzing and resolving complex network issues involving multiple stakeholders, systems, or service providers, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Significant experience writing technical documentation, including network configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and Helpdesk articles.
- Experience providing technical support and training for internal teams on network operations and security.
- Experience in assessing, testing, and recommending networking technologies, software, and tools (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, monitoring network management platforms) and supporting implementation.
- Experience with hybrid or cloud networking environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), including connectivity models such as VPNs or private links.
- Experience supporting or contributing to incident management processes, including participation in major incident response, coordination, or post-incident analysis.
- Experience implementing network or system hardening standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or other security frameworks.
- Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, JamF or similar MDM solutions for networked devices.
- Significant experience in network infrastructure administration (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, DHCP,DNS), security, and operations.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, access control, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving network issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+) are preferred.
