We are looking for an experienced Systems & Network Administrator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will oversee the design, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems and networks to ensure high performance and reliability. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable network services, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Configure and maintain VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, including networking and high-availability systems.
  • Monitor and support Windows services and roles such as DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
  • Develop and maintain system administration and operational documentation following best practices.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst switches and Meraki Wi-Fi mesh networks.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory and assist with cloud service migrations from on-premises systems.
  • Provide technical support for Office 365 and SharePoint platforms.
  • Identify and resolve network protocol and design issues to enhance system functionality.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement ITIL processes and ensure effective incident and change management.
  • Oversee database management tasks, including supporting SQL databases.
  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and systems administration.
  • Proven expertise in VMware infrastructure, Cisco networking, and Wi-Fi mesh networks.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and incident/change management.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and cloud migration strategies.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and design best practices.
  • Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, and SQL databases.
  • Certifications such as Cisco, MCSA, or equivalent are an asset.
