- Lead all plant finance and accounting activities, including month-end close, reporting, and financial analysis
- Oversee and participate in cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis
- Prepare and review monthly financial and management reporting packages
- Analyze production costs, raw material usage, labour, and operational efficiencies
- Partner with operations leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic decision-making
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and business plans for the facility
- Ensure strong internal controls, compliance, and adherence to corporate policies and procedures
- Review capital projects and support ROI and business case analysis
- Lead, mentor, and support the local finance team
- Provide detailed reporting and commentary to senior leadership on operational and financial performance
- Canadian CPA designation required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally within a manufacturing or plant environment
- Strong costing, inventory, and operational finance experience
- Experience within a larger enterprise or multi-site corporate environment preferred
- Proven ability to partner with operational leaders and senior executives
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with reporting and dashboard tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Full-time in-office opportunity in the Winnipeg area
- Willing to relocate to Winnipeg if not from the area. (Canadian residents only)
- Competitive base salary $110K - $140K
