(BMH3xR1)Our client, a leader in the Steel industry, is seeking a Director of Finance who will be directly responsible for all financial and accounting matters in the company and be a key member of the senior leadership team. This role reports to the VP Finance.Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the companyFull cycle accountingProject accountingOversee and prepare financial statements for holding companies & joint venturesPreparation of consolidated financial statementsAnnual budgeting & forecastingPreparation of inter-company balances & cash flow statementsOversee and complete the month-end accounting cycleTax, compliance & reportingAdministration of external groups: Banking, Insurance, Bonding, CRA, Healthcare Provider, etc.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiativesQualifications:CPAUniversity business degree8+ years of experience with full cycle accounting and financial statement preparationProject Accounting experience in the Construction IndustryConsolidation of financial reportingBudget development and maintenanceCorporate tax knowledge and complianceExperience with Great Plains & Microsoft OfficeA team player with the ability to work and learn quickly in a fast-paced environmentIntegrity, positive attitude with a strong work and business ethicsAbility to prioritize and multi-task successfullyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
