- Conducted macroprudential research and systemic risk analysis projects to assess emerging and evolving risks across Bermuda's financial system
- Participated in the development, enhancement, and implementation of top-down macroprudential stress-testing frameworks to evaluate systemic risks and financial stability implications
- Contributed to our client's program of work on systemic risk identification, scenario analysis, and frameworks for cross-sectoral risk assessment
- Prepared forward-looking research reports on systemic risk, identifying financial sector vulnerabilities and contributing to global thought leadership on stability issues
- Evaluated the implications of macroprudential policy measures and conducted detailed impact assessments on the Bermuda financial system
- Collaborated with internal and external stakeholders including regulators, policymakers, and international organizations to address systemic risks and ensure alignment with global standards
- Provided expert technical input to assist senior management in policy decisions regarding systemic risk prevention and mitigation
- Steered assigned teams and working groups, providing leadership on technical, managerial, and administrative matters to achieve departmental goals
- Oversaw the performance of individual team members, providing direction, mentoring, and feedback through formal performance appraisal processes
- Identified employee training needs and collaborated with Learning and Development to establish programs for professional growth, including formal courses and special projects
- Managed special projects and related work as assigned by management, leveraging high-level competencies in financial oversight
- Master's degree or equivalent in finance, actuarial science, statistics, or mathematics from a recognized institution; a doctoral-level degree is considered a significant asset
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, central banking, or regulatory research, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in policy or research design, development, and implementation within a regulatory or research-based environment
- Demonstrated expertise in authoring detailed research papers and reports that integrate data analysis, critical thinking, and evidence-based policy recommendations
- Deep understanding of international finance and economic interconnectedness, specifically regarding systemic risk and global market dynamics
- Strong analytical capability with a track record of developing or implementing macroprudential models, tools, or stress-testing frameworks
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings for diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects, balance workloads, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, industry experts, and international organizations
