- Job Description
- Support and manage municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
- Prepare and review engineering studies, Environmental Assessment support documents, technical reports, plans, calculations, and contract documents.
- Develop cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender packages.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers, and coordinate with cross-disciplinary project teams.
- Communicate and liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Assist in proposal development, including technical content and project approach.
- Participate in project planning and resource coordination to support schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff and designers.
- Support other CIMA+ offices across Canada on large-scale water and wastewater initiatives.
- Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed with PEO or eligible for transfer.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, specifically linear conveyance systems.
- Demonstrated experience in design and/or construction services for municipal underground infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with trenchless technologies and/or rehabilitation methods considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks and priorities in a team-based environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with engineering design software and virtual collaboration tools.
