CMST is currently seeking a Board Member to provide leadership in the continuation of CMST fulfilling its mission.Key Responsibilities

Provide fiduciary oversight by acting honestly, in good faith, and in the best interest of the organization while supervising its activities and affairs.
Set and uphold the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the nonprofit to ensure programs—such as music education initiatives—align with organizational goals.
Ensure sound governance and compliance, including maintaining policies, managing conflicts of interest, and meeting statutory requirements.
Oversee financial health, including approving budgets and financial statements, and ensuring responsible stewardship of assets and resources.

NOTE: Service on CMST’s Board of Directors is without remuneration.Board termsBoard Members serve a three-year term and are eligible for re-appointment for one additional term. Board meetings are held quarterly, and committee meetings are held in coordination with full Board meetings.
