CMST is currently seeking a Board Member to provide leadership in the continuation of CMST fulfilling its mission.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fiduciary oversight by acting honestly, in good faith, and in the best interest of the organization while supervising its activities and affairs.
  • Set and uphold the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the nonprofit to ensure programs—such as music education initiatives—align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure sound governance and compliance, including maintaining policies, managing conflicts of interest, and meeting statutory requirements.
  • Oversee financial health, including approving budgets and financial statements, and ensuring responsible stewardship of assets and resources.
NOTE: Service on CMST’s Board of Directors is without remuneration.Board termsBoard Members serve a three-year term and are eligible for re-appointment for one additional term. Board meetings are held quarterly, and committee meetings are held in coordination with full Board meetings.
