- Support the project team with your strong attention to detail by ensuring effective project coordination and administrative support.
- Apply your passion for customer service by maintaining clear communication with team members, business partners, consultants, and clients.
- Review, interpret, and diligently update our construction schedules.
- Leverage your organizational strengths by maintaining, reviewing, and tracking shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice specifications, and project closeout documents.
- Thoroughly review, gather, and analyze project quotations, seeking the best prices on the market.
- Ensure the collection and completion of company-wide project reports for the projects under your responsibility.
- Act as a role model in applying project-specific safety standards by helping promote Pomerleau's health and safety programs, as well as applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and codes to all employees and partners on site.
- A university or technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Versatility, curiosity, rigor, and a desire to be actively involved on a construction site.
- The ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
