- Managing quality‑related performance by understanding and deploying customer‑specific requirements through training and controlled documentation
- Leading structured problem‑solving initiatives to resolve internal and external quality issues
- Containing, analyzing, and dispositioning non‑conforming material using quality data and production input
- Maintaining and strengthening customer relationships through regular communication and performance reviews
- Updating customer portals, scorecards, and performance metrics
- Managing supplier quality performance, clarifying requirements, and driving improvement initiatives
- Leading corrective and preventive action processes to eliminate root causes of quality issues
- Developing and analyzing statistical data (SPC) to monitor trends and reduce defects
- Supporting scrap‑reduction initiatives and cost‑reduction strategies
- Training inspectors and production associates on inspection methods, gauges, standards, and corrective actions
- Creating and maintaining IATF documentation including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and launch documentation
- Providing daily production support, including rework strategies, acceptance criteria, and process modifications
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to Quality, Engineering, Productivity, and IATF compliance
- Ensuring compliance with all Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety systems
- Strong hands‑on problem‑solving skills with experience using structured quality tools
- Technical background with a minimum three‑year diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance
- Proven experience with:
- IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001
- SPC and statistical analysis
- Error‑proofing and quality best practices
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations as required
- Powder Metallurgy Technologist (PMT) Certification Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience supporting automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments
- Experience with customer scorecards and global customer portals
