Ensures safe on-time fueling operation, customer coordination, and interface, enforcing all applicable regulations, policies, and safety practices.Your activities
  • Be the second in command to supervise the fueling staff
  • Maintain the daily fueling operations
  • Coordinates the activity with lead-fueler and fuelers in performing in-plane and ground equipment fueling services
  • Responsible for disseminating the instructions to fueling personnel and monitoring their activities
  • Responsible for making spot assignment changes to optimize manpower and equipment utilization in an ever-changing workflow
  • Ensures compliance with company, airlines, FAA, MWAA, and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assists in the training process of all newly hired and promoted fuelers, leads, dispatchers, and supervisors
  • Accounting of fuel dispersals and receipts
  • Interface with airlines' shift management personnel to implement expansion as operational requirements dictate
  • Work with airport operations personnel to ensure all safety and security guidelines are adhered to participate in the airline's audit
  • Performs in operative gauge procedures as necessary
  • Implement monthly communication, safety, and staff meetings
  • Completes accident/incident investigation and all associated paperwork as necessary
  • Perform other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor and or listed in GPPM Supplement
  • Implement daily tailgate meeting
  • Responsible for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activates at the station with an objective of reducing employee injuries, aircraft and equipment damage
  • Other duties as assigned.
Your profile
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in fueling operations
  • Experience in a supervisory role (in a unionized environment, an asset)
  • Knowledge of in-plane fueling and GSE fueling, as well as familiarity with equipment such as hydrants and tanker refuelers, is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license; Class 1 is preferred
  • Good oral and verbal communication skills in both English and French
Communicate with internal stakeholders in North America and foreign specialists. Must be able to obtain and maintain Transport Canada Security Clearance * Must be able to work in inclement weather
  • Available and flexible to work 24/7 on various shifts (day, evening, weekends, and holidays)
