Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Perform tasks in the rental yard in support of the FFS (Flooring Solutions) store operation. The primary objective is to provide labor assistance to mechanics, sales staff, and Operations Manager in order to meet customer needsCheck equipment for damage, hours used, fuel level upon return to branchReport machine condition to Operations Manager for billingPerform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools including checking oil, grease, fluids and tagging of equipment for rental ready statusInspect rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, and ensure that equipment is in good working orderDemonstrate equipment for customersAssist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & partsOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordBasic knowledge of construction equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.Why join us?We don’t just “talk the talk!” We’re an award-winning company (recently named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work in 2023) that truly cares about our people - That’s why we offer best-in-class benefits and perks that will support you and your family.
