
Business Development Representative

- Engage and qualify inbound leads generated from marketing programs, campaigns, and events against CHAMP criteria (Challenges, Authority, Money, Prioritization).
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect needs and align them with our value proposition.
- Deliver engaging and technically proficient product demonstrations to prospective customers, while confidently addressing initial questions and focusing on the prospect’s role and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to hand off qualified opportunities and support progression through the pipeline.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in CRM (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce).
- Follow up on event leads and nurture interest into active opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and our evolving product suite.
- Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in business development, inside sales, customer success, or related roles (SaaS experience preferred).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently deliver product demos.
- Proven ability to qualify leads and engage with senior-level decision makers.
- Self-starter with persistence, drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus).
- Background or experience in finance or accounting is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
