  • Job Description
We are looking for a civil engineer with experience in industrial, institutional and/or municipal projects to join our “civil - industrial infrastructure” team in our Montreal office. If you have proven skills in the design and management of industrial projects and enjoy working in partnership with our customers to help them achieve their objectives, CIMA+ offers a flexible and stimulating environment in which to pursue your career development. We offer a flexible hybrid working arrangement allowing you to work from home and from one of our offices.Main responsibilities
  • Participate in the design of multidisciplinary industrial engineering projects (underground services, pavement structure, earthworks and drainage)
  • Manage plant projects for our customers (schedule, budgets, quality)
  • Prepare technical, feasibility and preliminary design studies
  • Estimate construction costs, and draw up summary work schedules
  • Perform calculations, prepare technical opinions and draft design reports
  • Carry out and coordinate work follow-up (shop drawings, change notices, etc.)
  • Participate in coordination between the various departments involved in multidisciplinary projects as discipline leader.
  • Ensure project compliance with applicable standards, as well as the quality of deliverables.
  • Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • 5+ years' relevant professional experience in the infrastructure field (preferably industrial)
  • Experience in project design and execution
  • Experience in project management
  • Interest in coaching
  • Consulting engineering experience (an asset)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software (an asset)
