Multi-Family Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager to support the execution of multiple multi-family construction projects across Alberta. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple moving parts across active construction sites. You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in keeping projects on track from pre-construction through completion. Responsibilities: Project Execution & Coordination • Manage and support multiple multi-family construction projects from pre-construction through completion • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, trades, and suppliers to ensure alignment with project timelines and scope • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking Site & Progress Oversight • Monitor construction progress and ensure work is aligned with drawings, specifications, and schedules • Conduct regular site visits and track milestones, deficiencies, and key deliverables • Identify delays or risks early and work with the team to implement solutions Financial & Contract Administration • Track and manage project budgets, invoices, and cost reports • Assist with tendering, scope reviews, and procurement coordination • Manage change orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals • Support payment certifications and progress draws Documentation & Systems • Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and reports • Work within project management systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting • Support implementation of standardized processes and reporting structures Communication & Team Coordination • Act as a central point of coordination between internal teams, consultants, and trades • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all stakeholders • Escalate issues when needed and support resolution Qualifications: What We’re Looking For • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience • 3–7 years of experience in construction project management (multi-family preferred) • Proven track record working on CMHC MLI Select or similar multi-family projects • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Clear communication and problem-solving skills Technical Experience • Working knowledge of CCDC contracts, including contract administration, change orders, and payment processes • Experience with construction scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications About Company: Briarstone is an institutional-grade real estate development and management firm focused on building high-performance multi-family assets across Canada.
