Job Description:Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven accounting professional with a passion for managing fund reporting? Our client is looking for a confident and highly skilled Fund Accountant who thrives in fast-paced and dynamic environments.   • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Manage investment fund accounting tasks, including reconciliations, performance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Handle the accounting for fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, dividends, and distributions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders, such as portfolio management, operations, and compliance teams, to provide timely and accurate fund-related data.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports for internal management and external stakeholders (including regulatory bodies and investors).
  • Support tax filings, audits, and compliance processes, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and optimize fund accounting functions.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff as needed.
Requirements:What You Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or working toward a designation is strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or a related field, preferably in high-complexity environments.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, investment fund structures, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Workday, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with regulatory and tax requirements for investment funds is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
