In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 Claims Advisors, providing leadership, and ensuring the efficient management of senior level bodily injury claims nationally. This role requires a strategic mindset, as the manager will drive results that support key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on early resolutions. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including underwriting, agents, and other claims units.AccountabilitiesProvide guidance and mentorship to a team of senior-level Bodily Injury Claims Advisors, fostering professional growth and expertise.Offer coaching to improve technical capabilities and enhance performance.Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and develop individual development plans to ensure continuous improvement.Lead the execution of best practices in claims handling, with a focus on early resolution strategies for bodily injury claims.Monitor the quality and timeliness of claims management to ensure compliance with company guidelines, legal requirements, and industry standards.Establish clear goals and objectives for the team to align with departmental and organizational targets.Monitor staffing levels and workload distribution.Identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the claims process and implement corrective actions.QualificationsDemonstrated experience and working knowledge in Bodily Injury claims handlingProven experience in a people leadership capacityKnowledge of Alberta liability claims handlingStrong knowledge of ​Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint. Guidewire experienceProven ability to develop strategies for efficiently resolving files directly with plaintiff counselDemonstrated expertise in analyzing data and recommending solutionsAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
