We would love for our baby to be exposed to Chinese from the very beginning - as a multilingual family (English, German, French, and Croatian), we deeply value language learning and hope our child will one day speak Chinese as well. We especially appreciate traditional Chinese postpartum practices, such as body binding and nourishing Chinese meals, and would love a nanny who is well-versed in these traditions. We also have a 3.5 kg Pomeranian who is a certified service dog. The wife and mother is high-functioning autistic and relies on her as a grounding guide dog in stressful environments or situations. Our little Pomeranian is very calm, extremely friendly, and fluffy. She requires 3-4 short walks a day, which would be part of the daily routine. As our families live in Europe, we won't have parents present during the first vulnerable month. We'd like to establish our own rhythm with the baby before involving them and their life's wisdom. Nonetheless, we are very aware that having a senior, experienced person to support the mother through postpartum recovery and to keep daily household chores managed is a real need for us. We are looking for someone who can bring both compassion and practical knowledge into our home during this important transition. START DATE: Our baby is due at the end of December, but we are more than happy to begin employment earlier. Ideally, we would love to get to know our nanny and have her spend time with us before the baby arrives - helping with cooking, cleaning, simple chores, and keeping us company. This will give us time to build trust and settle into a routine together before the newborn stage begins. We are flexible to start as early as September, with about two visits per week, and would be thrilled if a nanny is open to working with us during this period.
