
Paralegal, Director of Corporate Services

- Updating minute books, corporate records, and related records;
- Preparing and filing of various government reports (federal, provincial and extra-provincial declarations, etc.) and corporate documents (incorporation, registration, amending declaration, resolutions, annual reports, etc.);
- Assist lawyers in transactional files (produce closing agendas, prepare contract appendices, draft resolutions);
- Attend closing sessions;
- Act as a Director with jr Paralegals through mentoring and coaching;
- Participate in the recruitment and performance appraisal process for Paralegals on your team.
- Paralegal technology or any other combination of relevant education and experience;
- Mentoring experience with junior Paralegals in corporate law;
- Experience in transactional corporate law;
- Natural leadership skills;
- Good time and priority management;
- Interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
