This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key player in a growing business where your contributions will be recognized.The Role:As the right hand to the Controller, you'll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, help lead the month-end process, and support financial reporting and analysis.What You'll Do:- Assist with full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closings
- Help prepare financial statements
- Help prepare financial reports and variance analysis
- Help manage payables, receivables
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Prepare GST/QST reports
- Support audits and ensure complianceWhat We're Looking For:- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- DEC, AEC, Certificate or BAC in accounting
- Detail-oriented and hands-on - you like to roll up your sleeves
- Experience in distribution, food industry, or family-run environments is a strong assetSalary & Perks:- Competitive salary: $80,000-$90,000
