We’re looking for an in-person Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager in the retail/franchise industry.Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding national organization with a strong presence across Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that plays a critical role in supporting a large franchise and retail network.The Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving process improvements.Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager responsibilities:
Oversee the full supply chain lifecycle including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate cost-effective supplier agreements
Manage import, customs, and transportation activities for timely product delivery
Monitor warehouse operations and optimize inventory levels
Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain plans with business goals
Track KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with trade regulations and industry standards
Evaluate and manage supplier relationships to support growth and innovation
The successful candidate has:
3–5 years of supply chain management experience
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
Experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory planning
3+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams
Familiarity with international supply chain operations and customs compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience is a plus
CCS designation and experience with CBSA’s CARM Client Portal are assets
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
