We’re looking for an in-person Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager in the retail/franchise industry.Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding national organization with a strong presence across Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that plays a critical role in supporting a large franchise and retail network.The Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods, strengthening supplier relationships, and driving process improvements.Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full supply chain lifecycle including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiate cost-effective supplier agreements
  • Manage import, customs, and transportation activities for timely product delivery
  • Monitor warehouse operations and optimize inventory levels
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain plans with business goals
  • Track KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with trade regulations and industry standards
  • Evaluate and manage supplier relationships to support growth and innovation
The successful candidate has:
  • 3–5 years of supply chain management experience
  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience in procurement, logistics, and inventory planning
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with international supply chain operations and customs compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience is a plus
  • CCS designation and experience with CBSA’s CARM Client Portal are assets
Compensation and benefits:
  • The discussed salary range is $75,000 – $85,000 depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
