- Receive, prioritize, and assign maintenance work orders using internal tracking systems
- Perform basic property maintenance and inspections in guest rooms, common areas, and building exteriors
- Coordinate and monitor daily tasks and preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, equipment service history, and supply inventory
- Support the Maintenance Manager with vendor communications, quotes, and scheduling third-party services
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and internal policies
- Assist with small-scale renovations, painting, and repair projects
- Oversee regular pool and hot tub maintenance, testing, and compliance reporting
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure proper storage
- Provide clear, consistent communication with hotel departments regarding maintenance-related impacts or projects
- Participate in seasonal preparations and set-up/tear-down of hotel spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a maintenance, facilities, or trades-related role
- Administrative or coordination experience is a strong asset
- Familiarity with property management systems or maintenance tracking software preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems
- Strong time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working indoors/outdoors
