- Providing support on all compensation aspects, including job evaluation process, pay equity exercise, annual compensation processes, benchmarking ensuring alignment with firm policies and pay equity requirements.
- In collaboration with our compensation consultants, supporting market research and benchmarking to evaluate the firm’s compensation structure against industry standards and best practices.
- Analyzing internal and external data to support the design and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and annual compensation reviews.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for the Workday Advanced Compensation module, including business process design and troubleshooting.
- Leading and executing testing of the Workday Advanced Compensation module for annual compensation cycles, system updates, and new functionality, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Collaborating with HRMS, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to provide compensation guidance and support business objectives.
- Maintaining and updating compensation data in Workday and other relevant systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Monitoring legislative changes (e.g., pay equity, employment standards) and ensuring compliance with federal and provincial regulations.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and analytics for senior leadership, including compensation trends, pay equity analyses, and ad hoc requests.
- Participating in compensation surveys and analyzing results to inform compensation strategy.
- Supporting the development and communication of compensation policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Assisting with special projects related to total rewards, such as job evaluations, incentive plan design, and compensation communications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Workday Advanced Compensation module, including administration and end-to-end testing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems (Workday required).
- Knowledge of Canadian compensation legislation, pay equity, and employment standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or progress toward certification is an asset.
- Bilingualism (French and English) written and spoken is required
