They are seeking a dynamic individual to take on a role of head of growth and strategy by leading the digital marketing agency and sales operations across North America, based in Toronto.This unique position combines strategic oversight of the local digital marketing agency with hands-on leadership in sales and business development.The ideal candidate will be both commercially savvy and marketing-oriented and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands agency dynamics, and has a proven ability to drive growth through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding client portfolios. You will work closely with the sales team and agency team in Toronto, acting as a bridge between operations, strategy, and business expansion.   • Manage the Toronto digital agency's strategic direction and growth targets, ensuring consistency with its global vision.
  • Manage and mentor the local sales team, providing guidance, setting goals, and tracking performance.
  • Lead business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through upselling and strategic expansions.
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure excellent client service and to spot opportunities for scaling service offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from lead generation to closing deals and expanding existing accounts.
  • Represent the company in the North American market, including networking, partnerships, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance) to localize strategy and maximize impact in North America.

Job Requirement:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, growth, or account strategy within a digital marketing agency or B2B tech environment.
  • Proven success in a leadership or strategic sales role with direct team or regional responsibility.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing services (SEM, social media advertising, performance marketing, etc.).
  • Strong client-facing experience, including pitching, upselling, and relationship-building.
  • A self-starter with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution ability.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in or with international teams is an advantage.
